Thermostat Card - Set point increments to whole integers

Hi all,

I have done some looking around on this and struggled to find anything recent. Sorry if there is a simple solution.
I have a ZWave to IR controller for my small “split system” heatpump/airconditioner. It is a Remotec ZXT-600. It all works perfectly fine, all reporting is correct etc etc. The thing I have a minor issue with is the temperature is in 0.5 degree increments when configuring the set temperature.
The reason this is an issue for me is because the split system I have sets in 1 degree increments, and I cannot change the behaviour of the installed heat pump system.
Is there a fairly easy way to change the behaviour of the default thermostat card, or some kind of custom thermostat card, so the set point can be incremented in 1 degree increments.

Note: I am in Australia, so these would be settings would be in degrees Celsius.

This is probably an issue with the zwave integration or configuration of your IR device. If it reports in 0.5° increments, that is what the thermostat card will use.

I have thermostat cards set up for my Daikin split systems and the cards use 1°C increments.

I was afraid it may be an issue with the Remotec device. Unfortunately I have no alternative to this as the system (in a rental property) is not one of the common Mitsubishi, Daiken or Panasonic models that work with other devices.
Thanks for the advice.

As it is a zwave device there may be a parameter you can set for precision. Check the instructions.

What is the model number?

The device is a Remotec ZXT-600. I might have to see if there is something that can be changed that will stick through updates.

I use the simple thermostat custom card. It has an option to set a different step size.

Both of my thermostats always change by 1-degree using the default climate card, but my units are in F.

I’ll have a look at that. Is it in HACS ?

Okay. Will have a look and see if it works with Z-Wave entities. I can always create heat and cool separately if it works out :).

Thanks for a pointer. Would be nice to have that functionality in the default card.

I deleted my post because I read the recommendation wrong. The third party card can do both.

Okay, so to HACS I go
