Thermostat - Climate entity not created

I try to add a thermostat card to my HA.

I like Better Thermostat but it asks for an Entity, and I can’t add any.
I use Xiaomi temperature and humidity sensor, which I can add, but not an entity.

I got help that I need to create a climate entity and for that I used Generic Thermostat - Home Assistant

I created a climate folder, and a generic_thermostat.yaml file in it as you see on below screenshot.

The climate entities are not created however. I restarted HA.

How are you telling Home Assistant where to find this file?

Do you have something like this in configuration.yaml?

climate: !include climate/generic_thermostat.yaml

wow, I’m stupid. no i didn’t do that. Thank you, this was the solution
