Thermostat for pellet stove

Hi I’m a newbe in HA. I have a pellet stove and looking for a good smart thermostat that will integrate in to HA. Thank you.

I’ve had good luck with one similar to this that I got at a charity shop. (for $10)

I think your stove have two pins for external dry contact,so you need dry contact relay and temp sensor,then create generic thermostat in HA.

Thank you for that. I just looked and it does have a spot for 4 wires, i will look in the manual and I’m sure its for a dry relay. I will have to figure out the generic thermostat part out in HA. That being said, is there a easy way to start to make the thermostat in HA?? you’ve been a huge help.

Generic thermostat in HA is supereasy.Look for helpers(settings,integrations,helpers)

So I’ve got this relay and the temp sensor. If i understand correctly i could use both of them and just create a generic thermostat and I would be set??
