Thermostat for plugged in heaters

Hi everyone, is there any way I can control my old electric heaters connected to smart plugs through a smart thermostat? I have the impression that they only work with water heating, electric heated floors or A/C.
Can someone advise me?
I would like to have one with multi zone capacity through my AQARA temperature sensors I have in each room.

Thanks

You can use a generic thermostat.
It only requires a switch (i.e. your smartplug) and a temperature sensor.

Yes I know, and I have it. But was aiming for a physical oneā€¦

You could, there are a few thing to consider first. Smart thermostats expect to be connected to a boiler/AC. The boiler/ac supplies 24vAC to the thermostat. That is where they are powered from.

You would need to get power to wherever you plan to mount it. From there you could use it to

signal ha --> ha signals smart switch.

If you wanted the thermostat to directly turn on the heaters, it could be done.

Maybe just mounting some type of display with esphome to look like a thermostat. Or a tablet running the companion app.
