Hello,

Is it possible to have a climate generic_thermostat with 2 switches ? Basically I would like to set a daylight and a nightlight. So i’m making a Brooder with to heating light elements for birds. The idea is that during sunrise one switch is on and during sunset (Night) the other switch would go on.

Is it possible to accomplish this ?

I’d just use an automation if the heating lights stay on for the entire time.

Otherwise, two generic thermostats scheduled by automation.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. Now the heat goes on and off to keep the temperature constant. the idea of the light is that during the night a moon blue light switches on so not to disturb the chicks. I think the best idea as you suggested is to use an automation.
