Here’s some pointers for others that want to use this for Alexa (which was SUPER easy once I found the right URL):
The needed “API URL” is:
https://YOUR_HOME_ASSISTANT_PUBLIC_PROBABLY.duckdns.org/api/alexa/smart_home
Also, the format for the configuration.yaml section is specified at Amazon Alexa Smart Home Skill - Home Assistant (I only needed the “filter:” section)

@rlowens I frigging can’t thank you enough ! i’ve been trying to get this to work for so long without doing the whole developer account with amazon and ALL IT WAS WAS THE DAMN URL!!! i had tried so much but it was the stupid smart_home at the end!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
