I’ve got 2 thirdreality motion sensors deployed running of 2x AAA batteries. I connected them using my PHOSCON USB Conbee II stick and the DECONZ integration. Home Assistant see them just fine. The problem is it shows their battery level as 0%
Home Assistant running on Raspberry Pi 4.
- Home Assistant core 2024.3.3
- Operating system 12.1
- Supervisor 2024.03.1
My questions:
-
Is it possible to update the firmware on these devices with the PHOSCON or DECONZ utilities without a thirdreality hub?
-
Is there a workaround for this or would I be better off returning them?
-
Is this the sort of thing that could be addressed in a future DECONZ upgrade / PHOSCON firmware?
-
Is there a means I could reach out to the people who manage the DECONZ integration to help document this and log it as an enhancement request?
