I just want to share my setup with what i have in my apartment (three rooms plus kitchen and bathroom).
Maybe someone will get some inspiration out of it

Ofcourse i have Home Assistant  and having that running on ar RPI

Raspberry Pi to handle the automations and scripts
https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-3-model-b-plus/

Home assistant, the software on the Raspberry Pi

  1. Philips Hue bridge to control light bulbs and smart sockets from Innr & Osram
    https://www2.meethue.com/en-us/p/hue-bridge/046677458478

  2. Google home mini, smart speaker to control the bulbs, scripts and automations etc.
I have several of them, at least one in every room

  3. Chromecast Audio to have the home automation connected to stereo/amplifier
    https://store.google.com/product/chromecast_audio

  4. Chromecast Ultra to have also the TV connected
    https://store.google.com/product/chromecast_ultra

  5. Google home, another smart speaker with a bit more deeper bass. I have one in the living room just to have the bass while playing music

  6. This is the smart speaker with display that i have in living room, kitchen and hallway
    https://www.techradar.com/reviews/google-home-hub

  7. Innr smart sockets to control like the coffee machine and other stuff like chargers, lights not compatible with Ikea or Philips…
    https://shop.innrlighting.com/en/shop/113/smart-plug

  8. Osram smart socket, also a smart socket as the Innr
    https://www.osram-lamps.com/ecatalog/smart-home/smart-home-components/smart-plug/index.jsp

  9. Hue smart sockets, well yet again a smart socket
    https://www2.meethue.com/en-us/p/hue-smart-plug/046677552343

  10. Twinkly is the smart christmas light that i have on the balcony
    https://www.twinkly.com/

  11. Philips Hue bulbs, i use it where i want to have the possibility to also change color or dim in a big range
    https://www2.meethue.com/en-us/products.bulbs#filters=BULBS_SU&sliders=&support=&price=&priceBoxes=&page=&layout=12.subcategory.p-grid-icon

  12. Ikea bulbs, much cheaper and also compatible with Philips Hue bridge (not the other way around)
The downside with those bulbs are the limit in dim range and not as good as the Philips lights.
You can have them for instance in a room where you just need light without ambiance or color like over the sink in kitchen.
    https://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/categories/departments/lighting/36812/

  13. Philips hue motion detection, really neat to have the light turned on automatically when enter hallway or kitchen. Also possible to have temp and lux data fetched from the sensors.
    https://www2.meethue.com/en-us/p/hue-motion-sensor/046677473389

  14. Broadlink Pro + (IR + RF)
With this device i control everything that have a remote control like humidifier, tea lights…

  15. Lenovo tablet
Old lenovo tablet with Fully kiosk and HADashboard using AppDaemon 3.x for Home Assistant.
This is used as a control panel in the hallway. (not any longer, see #6)

  16. Google Wifi
    https://store.google.com/product/google_wifi_first_gen
I noticed that the concrete walls in the apartment created issues with all the GH speakers.
After the installation of Google Wifi with 2 AP’s everything work smooth as silk.

  17. Logitech Harmony Elite plus hub
    https://www.logitech.com/en-gb/product/harmony-elite?crid=60
Oh this is neat, one remote to rule them all, and also possible to switch channels, volume… with voice when i dont want to reach for the actual remote.

  18. Aqara Temperature, Humidity & Pressure Sensor
    https://www.mi-store.se/en/smart-homes/hubs-systems-sensors/aqara-temperature-humidity-pressure-sensor
To keep track on humidity and temperature

  19. Xiaomi purifier
    https://www.mi-store.se/en/campaign/mi-air-purifier-2s
One large in the kitchen and one smaller in the bedroom to maintain the indoor air quality

  20. Dyson pure hot+cool
    https://www.dyson.co.uk/purifiers/dyson-pure-hot-cool-all-features.html
Well i suffer from pollen and stuff so why not another purifier

  21. Dyson humidifier
    https://www.dyson.co.uk/air-treatment/dyson-humidifier-overview.html
Another great product to maintain the indoor air quality

  22. Duni led tea lights

(Twinkly need to be reconfigured [the balcony lights])

Old lenovo tablet with Fully kiosk and HADashboard using AppDaemon 3.x for Home Assistant.

Config: https://github.com/bonedaw/hass-config

Looks like a pretty solid setup. Do you notice HASS is slow on the pi?

Would be very helpful to the community if you share the code you use to integrate all these devices.

Below is an example of my setup on github. If you do choose to upload your config be sure to sanitize your personal information (usernames, passwords, api keys, etc.)
