'This page isn’t working' homeassistant.local didn’t send any data

Back in 2020 I started HA on a virtual machine on a crazy old Mac. I was doing pretty fine, but it was a pain because the machine was so outdated trying to keep it connected all the time was not working. When they came out with HA Odroid n2+ Blue I ordered one-- I think I tried setting it up but I dont really remember how far I got. I tried to transfer everything from VM to the Odroid, but it didnt go so well. I’ve also changed wifi routers since then.

Years later I’m ready to restart my HA journey. I have the odroid plugged into ethernet but when I try to connect I get nothing. I’ve tried:

http://192.168.1.101:8123/
http://homeassistant.local:8123/

The iphone app, and Chrome on my mac air all give me the same error. “This page isn’t working homeassistant.local didn’t send any data.” I even went back as far to my DuckDNS url and that didnt work either.

At this point I was just want to ‘Factory rest’ everything. Start from scratch. How do I get back in to reset everything?! FYI I am still super novice and I remember very little from my previous journey.

Doing further research, It seems I’m still running HA Core 2021.7.4 – I plugged in odroid into externals

I’m so outdated I cant access via local anymore, or anywhere for that matter? Any idea how to update without taking the case apart and flashing from new?

I don’t know what installation you are using but maybe this could help if you can connect to it using ssh.
