This stops working in version 2023.7.0.?

Update webhook trigger: all-lights-on-fake-name
This stops working in version 2023.7.0. Please address before upgrading.

What stops working? Webhook, or webhook from the web?

A choice needs to be made about whether the all-lights-off-fake-id webhook automation trigger is accessible from the internet. Edit the automation “All Lights Off”, (automation.all_lights_off ) and click the gear icon beside the Webhook ID to choose a value for ‘Only accessible from the local network’

What gear icon?

I use Alexa to turn on or off a lot of my lights, is this notice a concern that I need to address? What if I am going into my Home Assistant from another network through Duckdns? What stops working if I do nothing?

That one

Then uncheck the “Only accessible…” option

I SWEAR that it wasn’t there yesterday…

I clicked the gear icon and made the change on an automation that was not managed through the UI. The change does not seem to have stuck and repair keeps coming back.

I guess I’m going to have to be through the documentation and find out if there’s some way to make this setting in yaml

Hint: there is.

Perfect… Thank you. That’ll be another ten more repairs off the list.

Now to upgrade the EspHome on all my ESP32s

Cheers
