I have a matter lock (secuyou), it’s integrated to the thread network, originally added via google, and then after that added to home assistant with a SMLIGHT thread adapter.
I’ve had this on and off a few times, due to making a video about it.
Now I see ghost devices in th matter integration in Home Assistant, that doesn’t work, or appear elsewhere, they are removed from the google home interface, and is removed from the thread / matter network, but in HA under the matter device it shows:
If the device is no longer on your network, you need to remove the device from the Matter fabric, otherwise it patiently waits for the device to come back online. There should be two ways to do this, let us know if you tried them and they didn’t work.
In HA, go to the device page for the Matter device. At the bottom of the “Device Info” section, click the three-dot button which should have a red “Delete” option.
OR, open the Matter server web dashboard at http://yourservername:5580. In the list of Nodes, click the device you want to delete to show its page, then click the “Remove” button.
Hi @peterxian
The first option didn’t show anything, that’s the one I knew, I hadn’t checked out the webinterface in the Matter server, and there they were, all removeable, thankyou, great tip!
Though I removed the ones that were offline, and then the remaining didn’t work, so I removed that as well, and then shared it to HA from Google Home again, and it works again.
