Tibber Homevolt

With the introduction of Tibber Homevolt it would be great to get battery information from the Tibber integration as well, any plans on this?

@Danielhiversen

Good question. I would be interested al well!

Count me in, this would be gr8.
Or at least make a an API for HomeVault, or local pull.

Interested as well but I guess until we have the open API from Tibber it will be hard to develop any integrations.

Me too, would really like this added…

Yes Please!!

A homevolt integration is needed, I got my battery installed yesterday.

For a start…

Yes please. I have had my Homevolt battery for some months now and it works good after some firmware releases. It is nicely integrated in the Tibber app. It would be great to have the battery data in home assistant…

I wanted to share the homevolt local integration I have made: GitHub - JohNan/homeassistant-homevolt-local

It pulls data directly from the integrated web server in homevolt. Make sure to enable it before using the integration. You can find instructions in this thread https://community.home-assistant.io/t/homevolt-package/

hello @JohNan , thank you for the nice work!
I’ve setup this and the data is in HA.

I have a small problem with using it on energy dashboard.
When changing the sensors from place I see difference but they have both problems. The one with the little bit green on 8am shows the correct value for that time. The night is wrong. When swapping the values the night is correct and 8am is incorrect. How to solve this?

correct 8am incorrect night

incorrect 8am correct night

I’m considering getting a Polarium HomeBattery, which seems to be the same product as the HomeVolt (rebranded). I’m curious if this integration works with that as well. Has anyone here tried?

It should work. Polarium is the manufacturer and Tibber is selling this battery as the homevolt indeed. I can’t guarantee as I don’t know if they do use the same software. But I think Tibber and Polarium are developing the software together?

Hi @decommentator,

I created an issue. This is indeed not the desired expected result.

(edit)

When looking at HA demo dashboard you see the same

So maybe this is the expected way? Both values of the battery are total increasing positive. So there is no issue in the integration.
