Hi,
I was testing the Twitch integration recently and honestly I’m not very impressed.

Thumbnail pictures are being used as channel logos when the channel is online? For what? For unrecognizable pixel-mash-up as channel logo? In the issue section it was said, this is a feature, not a bug.
It’s not a good feature. It’s completely contrary to Twitch user experience. For thumbnail please add an additional attribute. -
Updating data: maybe every 2 hours or every 4 hours or at least at system restart the data will be updated. For this problem there exist also many staled or closed issues.
There should be a polling interval/sensor update of at maximum 15 Minutes.
And in the Forum then you get the hint to disable HA polling and polling manually by automation. OK. Polling every channel at the same time every 15 minutes. But after some time (within a day) for every sensor/channel their is no data available (by every 15 minutes manual polling). Maybe Twitch API doesn’t like that or the integration cannot handle that. Only after a HA restart you get then the actual data again for every followed Twitch channel.
This integration really needs to get an overhaul inspection. Actually this integration is relatively useless as at least it’s massively unreliable for automations.
I really respect the work of the developers. But at the end, when it is an official integration, this integration should work as expected within the normal range of user experience.
There are enough GitHub-issues which argue that spoken problems.
Please overhaul this integration so that HA users can have a reliable and positive user experience with that official integration.
