Tile card slider for numbers

Is it possible to use the tile card slider that is currently only available for lights for numbers?
I have a couple of numbers in an entity card but the sliders are not very touch friendly. The slider the tile card uses for lights would be perfect.

[Edit] Oh, misunderstood the original posting. No, I do not have a solution for a “nicer” slider.

As I had the same issue I stumbled over this thread.

I was able to use a number/ slider by direct coding. So added a dummy card and edited in yaml and placed the following:

entities:
  - number.lhzr
title: Luftheizregister
show_header_toggle: true
state_color: true
