No need to do this. Create a Schedule helper and then use the value (on off) of the helper as condition in the conditional card. Bonus you get a nice UI to edit the schedule instead of having to edit the dashboard.

People only get a limited number of votes that are released when the feature request is solved or closed. What happens if the developers decide to implement only half of your requests in this topic?
You just need one helper, only instead of a Schedule helper, you create a template helper instead, and use that in your conditionals. It’s easy to edit too, in the future when you decide to use a different cycle of suggestions or times.
Alternatively just creat an automation and a text helper. Then you can be as flexible as you want in your triggers.
I’ll look into that, thanks. For now I have a template sensor which shows the time in hours and use the above/below numeric state. This looks more streamlined.
