Time Lapse video production would be great. I use Octoprint for 3d printing and there is a Time lapse video component that is awesome and would be awesome if it could be incorporated into Hassio / Home Assistant. Basically what I am looking for is the ability to take a snapshot from any camera that is currently view-able in Hassio at a predefined interval (determined by time) for a predefined time period. For example:
1). Define the camera to use. 2) define the period for each snap shot to be taken. 3) define for how long this should go on for (days, months, hours, minutes). 4) define where the completed video file should be saved and what name it should have.
After a video is produced show it on a page so it can be “downloaded” to a device for viewing and/or uploading to youtube or whatever.
This is the link to the Octoprint api (not sure that its needed probably just need to look at the source code for that aspect of Octoprint but I am a very novice programmer so I leave that to you guys) http://docs.octoprint.org/en/master/api/index.html

For us that use HASSIO for gardening this would be awesome for showing off our work and doing plant experiments.
