I’ve been having some problems with the time zone being displayed within the Home Assistant web interface and wondered if anyone can help be debug further.
I am running the latest version of HA on a Raspberry Pi using the image provided on the website.
My time zone is configured in Home Assistant as Europe/London.
The actual Raspberry Pi (i.e. by running ‘date’ in the terminal) returns times as BST correctly.
Automations are running at the correct time.
However, the web interface in Safari and using the Home Assistant app is showing times as UTC. Either a) it’s using UTC or b) it’s showing times without taking account summer time.
I’m having the same issue after upgrading to 2021.10.x
I have a clock on my iPad dashboard using the Home Assistant App, and after upgrading, the time is shown as UTC instead of the correct time zone. Downgrading back to 2021.9.7 resolves the issue. The iPad time and time zone is correct.
The iPad is on iOS 14.4.1. Strangely, if I go to the same dashboard on my iPhone running 15.1 or MacBook on 12.0 with Safari, the correct time is displayed.
I’d love to know anything about why this is. The issue persists with 2021.10.3
I’m on Home Assistant 2021.10.4.
Since last update I noticed that time is wrong in Firefox, but when I switch to Chromium, time is okay.
I’am too much a n00b with HA to understand where this problem is coming from.

I have the same issue, the time in logs of HA and on Android app is correct. The time in browser is not (Firefox on Linux machine) - there is 1 hour difference. Linux machine has proper timezone and when checked with some time checkers, browser returns proper time (like Date and Time Information - BrowserSpy.dk).

This happened recently - I’m not sure if because recent DST change, or recent update (currently on HA 2021.10.7).
