Time zone issues, sensors not working for first hour on clean boot

so, if a clean boot hassos (vmware image) , i see in the log files that i am 1 hour behind, because i see wrong time stamps in the log files…
so my sensors start working after on hour
but i i do a clean boot of the hassos, login into HA, and then do a restart of the config, then the time is correct

so how can i fix it also in a clean boot ?

note , on clean boot, if i do a “date” command in putty terminal, the time is correct?
so where is the issue? if its in the config files, why is it correct after a manual restart within HA?

thnx

There are some issues with VMWare (ESX) and Linux based systems. You should check if the time settings on your VMWare hypervisor are correct, and install ntp on your image. Probably, at startup, your clock is still not in correct timezone, so that might cause your issue. Search for “VMWare Linux NTP” and you will find a ton of info.

I hereby assume you are runnig some form of Linux…

thnx for suggestion , indeed timezone was incorrect on esxi
so changed the correct time on my HP ILO, now ESXI has also correct timezone

so now booted up hassos, but still i see that my sensors are not working, the star working in 1 hour after first reboot

verry strange
whats also annoying, on first hard reboot of hassos, if i do some config changes, and i restart only in the first hour, after 1 hour , all network connectity is lost, cant ping it anymore
i need to wait 1 hour to make config changes, then i can safely reboot hassos, from HA itselt
