I have been looking at the options for some security cameras but many don’t have direct integrating with HA.
I have seen a few mentions of using the Tiny cam Web server to integrate wyse cams. i.e. tiny cam connects to camera and then HA connects to tiny cam Web server.
I can’t buy wyse cams in the UK yet but will this method work for any cam connected to tiny cam?
If so any detail on how to get the URL for use in the camera component?
Does this also work for world wide webcams?
I’m surprised that no smart developer out there has not come across the tinycam app and tried integration into HA! It is a great app and will connect to just about any kind of camera including old cell phones! Over the years I have accumulated various cameras from different manufacturers, each with it’s on setup and app. Tinycam brought all of them together in one app! It would be great to have views of each cam in HA along with motion detection, sound etc!
There is the integration for motioneye and MotionEyeOS which also does similar things, if not the same…
