Hello,
I’m looking for a new video door phone that can be connected via ethernet.
I would like to find a device that is natively integrated into Home Assistant and that maybe does not work through the supplier’s cloud so that, if the internet line were to be blown, it would continue to function normally.
Any suggestion?
Reading a bit here on the forum and on the internet I have perhaps found what is right for me.
There is the Hikvision DS-KV6113-WPE1 which would seem to be suitable for the specifications:
- connection via ethernet
- possibility of integrating it into HA
- possibility of operation in a local network.
I have read that a user has managed to integrate it via ZoneMinder and motionEye, but I have seen that there are also two Hikvision integrations.
Is there anyone who has successfully integrated it into HA and to whom it works well?
Most importantly I didn’t understand, does 2-way audio work?
Look at Dahua VTO doorbell models as well
In all these doorbell case sip server is effectively only option for two way audio. Someone create sip card for HA but I not test it.
Sip server install is difficult.
Dahua model has internal sip server so you may easily connect using the internal seever
