To make life easier for a disadvantaged person

Hello. I would like to make life a little more pleasant for a disadvantaged person. I am interested in your ideas and perhaps also experiences. My status: I have been using Homeassistant for 4 years with a variety of sensors in the house. I am certainly not a professional when it comes to programming. But I am certainly a good advanced user.

The point is that the person only gets through life with the help of two walking aids or in a wheelchair. My heart always bleeds when I see him opening the front door. Now I would like to find a way to activate the automatic door on the inside. Preferably with a transmitter around the neck, as there is already another remote control there. The cell phone is out of the question, because then I need more attention than if I were to press a transmitter like that. I am attaching a model of such a intercom. I really cannot say whether it is the right one. But it is certainly nothing unusual in Germany. Just a model. And then I look forward to your questions so that we can approach the topic together. I am very grateful for any participation.

I would look at trying to convert the pinouts to connect an ESP32.

For activation you can just use a smart button that is active when its in signal range of the network for activating the trigger to open the door.
