I just found a card, which will show some information from the O365 sensors / integration… and I thought, that the look would fit somehow to the Todo-List…
It would be great, to enable something like priorities, or other indicators… basically, the same options that are available with ha-alert for the markdown card
(Markdown card - Home Assistant)
This would be a great addition to make the todo-list more user-friendly and focus on the important tasks
I thought that the above card was for the todo list stuff and you had found a workaround using the martkdown card.
never mind…
so far I’m not finding the todo integration very useful. Sure it can make lists and show the lists in the sidebar. But there isn’t much additional info that a user can actually interact with aside from using it in automations. But even that is kind of a black box since the data in the lists isn’t explicitly available to be looked at outside of the automation.
Il add another vote to adding some more formatting / colour options to todo-list, I cant even get it to show themes correctly in its currently.
The tool itself is awesome though. Ive got an automation populating it off calendar entries. Id just like to be able to make it a bit less ugly to look at.
Unfortunately it is not possible in the todo “Task name” as it does not support markdown. But it certainly works (now) in the description of the todo item.
That is true, however that require the user to add the code to the description.
A to-do list is supposed to be fast and user-friendly. Can’t expect your wife to insert HTML codes in the UI.
I Support doing something with the colors of the card, but I think a better solution is to use some kind of conditional formatting.
Or a A drop-down or a checkboks to select color/format
Bonus: In card options defaults should be able to configure.
