Toggle TP link light bulbs with Amazon Echo button

Hello! I am wanting to toggle my TP Link lights with an Amazon Echo button. I copied the guide from here with Philips Hue lights.

I installed hass.io on my Raspberry Pi for the sole purpose of creating a toggle button. I’m not sure what I am missing but I can never get the toggle switch to show up on my overview page. I am extremely new to Home Assistant so any help or tips would be greatly appreciated! Below is my current code:

    alias: Toggle Bedroom Lights
    sequence:
      service: switch.toggle
      entity_id:
        - light.bottom_light
        - light.top_light

What am I missing or not understanding?

Edit: Also, if it matters, the light bulbs show up as a “light” and not a “switch” on the overview page.
