Tor and HA iOS Companion App

Hi all,

Is it possible to use Tor to access HA for the iOS companion app or do you need to setup Duck DNS/Lets Encrypt/Port Forwarding etc?

I’d rather not open the firewall.

+1 on this question. @Mattq did you ever figure this out if this was possible. I haven’t tried tor setup just yet, but I’m wanting to try to close down outside world access to home assistant as I add more credentials and capabilities into HA… tor seems like an additional defense later that could protect from potential HA security vulnerabilties.
