TP-Link HS300 powerstrip wishes

Still wishing that this will get incorporated in Home Assistant on the front end. Anybody know of any status updates?

Does having this code help?

I don’t see anything on GitHub regarding open issues with the HS300.
I feel the squeaky wheel gets the oil, but I want to be respectful of those with the abilities to implement this (unfortunately I have no programming abilities). Per GitHub, it directs all front end and feature requests here to the community forum.
So, I guess the best we can do is continue to keep this issue in the forefront.
I think this component will have great potential. I wish to use the power sensors from the strip to monitor my stacked washer and dryer units.
This strip is a great way to control and monitor indoor holiday lights come this upcoming holiday season.
Here’s to hoping it becomes integrated soon!

I believe the same code should allow the HS107 double smart plug, and KP200 smart outlet, assuming it’s written to correctly identify the different devices.

Just waiting for somebody with coding knowledge to hook us up!

I’ve started to work on an integration…but please don’t let me get your hopes up. I’ll keep you informed.

You had me at “Hello”. (Jerry McGuire referance) - lol. Thanks for trying! Ideally if you can integrate this with Hassio on a RPi3 that suits my needs! Best of luck.

HS300 support exists in this project.

I’m using it with the HomeKit Controller component.

FYI for those who have this device
