Not a question, but thought I would post a solution I found after a few hours of trying to get a Tapo P110 plug into HA.
I added the TP-Link Smart Home Integration and HA immediately found four older Kasa smart plugs (KP105) and I could control them okay. However I couldn’t get it to find the newer Tapo P110 energy monitoring smart plug.
After hours of searching the community and trying various things, I finally found the solution: Within the Tapo app, under the account menu (called Me on android) there is a setting for Third-Party Services, which has a toggle called Third-Party Compatibility. When this toggle is on, I could find the P110 plug in HA and all is now working.
Note - you need to have the plug online when you change the toggle in the app for it to work.
