I have recently added 2 new plugs, using the Tapo app. They’ve appeared in the discovered list of devices, but I’m unable to add them.
It comes up with an authentication window, which I understand is for the TP Cloud authentication - but no matter what username/password I add, it fails. I’ve even tried resetting the passwords, to check I’m not entering something wrong!
Joining this conversation as I am having the exact same issue with a TP link KP420 light strip. I’ve confirmedcthat HASS and light are on the same network, credentials are correct etc. Seems like this is a known issue. Anyone know what the deal is?
