Hello, I had issue with my TP-link smart sockets, specifically TP-link P110Ms not connecting to HA, they were giving Error 403 again and again.
Surprisingly it happened at the same time as HA released the February update and so my mind just immediately went to the issue being on HA side.
Actually, the solution is in the TAPO app. Go to here:
Me → Third-Party Services (under Services) → Turn on “Third-Party Compatibility”
And now everything works just as before. I don’t know when they added this toggle or what happened, TP-link Smart Home integration worked just fine since day one for me until recently.
But this returned my control over many sockets through HA and hopefully this little message/post can also help someone else stuck with this issue.
