Tptek Wi-Fi IP Camera

I bought an outdoor Wi-Fi security camera off Aliexpress (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007248545044.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.11.2fb118023xn1V9) which is branded Tptek. The camera was very well priced and supports 2 rtsp streams one at 3840x2160 (8MP) and a lower quality one at 1280x720. The camera integrates into Frigate with audio. It is also supported by the Onvif integration in HA.

Has anyone had any experience with this camera? It has a white light to give colour nightvision but I can’t get them to turn on.

The support from this company is non-existent.

Hi, I assume you did have a look at ONVIF - Home Assistant to see that the only switch option is to toggle the IR lamp.
Did you check what is exposed and maybe not enabled?

RE support from the company: an 8MP Wi-Fi camera for that price, peanuts & monkeys…

Yes I am using the ONVIF HA integration and I have tried toggling the IR lamp (but it seems to make no difference to either the IR or the white lights).
And, yes, I was not expecting a lot for that price. I was just hoping someone in the community had tried it. The camera does the job as an outdoor camera and it seems to work with Frigate (I need to do more testing)
