I’ve seen a lot of the videos for blinds, shades and curtains.
Roller shades, vertical blinds, curtains.
But I haven’t seen anyone anywhere post anything about track panel blinds?
I was thinking of trying something w/ esp8266 but not sure what other components to need to drive to pull the track across?
You could probably use a small DC motor attached to a string that gets wound up on either side, and have an endswitch that gets pressed when the last panel hits the end position.

I’ve never done an esp project before and have 2 littles so gonna see if I can manage to try one.
I think this ‘should’ be easy since the blinds are already on a fixed track and dont weight much.
Just surprised no ones posted anything on it anywhere.
I just did a GaragePi implementation and moved so trying to pick up some more projects. But trying to plan it out since hard w/ the littles in my way all the time and not keen and any more trips to HD.
