Hi all,
I have installed the Home Assistant app for iOS version 1.0.2 and finally have location set up and running. However, whenever I restart Home Assistant from the web UI it labels me as away again.
Is this normal? Does Home Assistant take awhile to figure out that I’m still at home before it switches me back? I’ve been away now for about 10 minutes since restarting and nothing has changed.

It does take a bit of time for it to update. You can send a manual location update from your device if you don’t want to wait.
Actually it does seem like HASS is recognizing me as home. If I click on my bubble the history shows me as home, but the word on the bubble does say Away.
How long does it take it to update out of curiousity?
It’s all based on when your phone determines its location has changed I believe.
Cool thanks. It does seem like the issue is with HASS just not changing the icon to Home instead of Away because the history is still counting me as home.
