Tradfri remote with Nortek HUSBZB-1

Hi, first I am new to Home Assistant but I started playing with it and was able to connect my router, my lifx bulbs and even the tradfri remote control using the Nortek HUSBZB-1 usb.
First issue, I see the remte as a sensor, not a switch, is it normal?
Second, how can I use the remote button to create automation to control my bulb or my media player or anything on my network for this matter ?

I’m trying to connect my remotes to HUSBZB-1 using ZHA, can you walk me trough your setup? I clicked the pair button on the remote and hit search on ZHA and nothing happens.
