Tradfri/xiaomi hub to control xiaomi/ikea

Hi

i have some devices:
ikea remote switch (5 button version)
xiaomi pir/motion sensors
osram smar plug

i already have deconz, but i want to try an official hub like tradfri/xiami
but can i control all devices with a single hub? anyone tried it alread?

so can i control with a xiaomi hub, also the ikea remote switch?
or visa versa?
can i control with a tradri hub also xiaomi pir sensors?
i dont think the osram would be a problem

PS: dont want to have the zigbee2mqtt hardware
thnx

Hello Fabio, I’m not a professional and probably can not give you an adequate answer either. I have a “Xiaomi Gateway” and a “HUE Hub” At the “HUE Hub” I was able to set up the Osram smart Plug, the Xiaomi sensors are, to my knowledge, not set up. At the “Xiaomi Gateway” you can easily integrate the Xiaomi sensors, but I do not know how to set up the Osram smart plug, or the IKEA remote control. I could integrate my IKEA remote controls only via Deconz, I also did not know how I could set this up in “HUE” or “Xiaomi”, in the respective apps, is this, to my knowledge, not possible. In my opinion, the Deconz system is the best. You can read all sensor data with Home Assistant (Deconz shows even more sensor data than the Xiaomi app !!) and you can control the smart plug too. Deconz runs locally, no internet connection is needed, the automations can be made relatively simple (if the HA automation is too difficult also in NodeRED!) I prefer Deconz in each case, but depending on the requirement one or the other system might be better…

Supplement, I just discovered this tutorial on YouTube …

Good luck…

ok, deconz is the only option then
yes, deconz is running verry well, except once a while, the xiaomi pir doesnt work , then after a few minutes its works again
mesh is good, all on seperate zigbee channel, no interfere
so just wanted to try out another hub, but i just want one, to contol them all

Maybe there are other opinions of people who have more experience with it, that was only my recommendation. Greetings…
