Ok so I have just setup home assistant and getting my first bulb integrated. I have a zigbee stick and not a hub from Ikea.
When I turn the bulb on from a physical switch, I get the bulb at its brightest setting. Changing a color, the bulb appears dimmer. Not to worried about this, as I assume its typical of the bulb. But the difficulty is trying to set it back to it’s brightest setting. I can get it roughly back to the same color, but its slightly dimmer.
When I switch the bulb on the state looks like this:

hs_color: 38.222, 52.941
rgb_color: 255, 205, 120
xy_color: 0.459, 0.408
off_brightness: null

When I try to set the color with an automation to the same values I get the below.
brightness: 254
hs_color: 37.778, 52.941
rgb_color: 255, 205, 120
xy_color: 0.459, 0.408
off_brightness: null
friendly_name: Bulb01 level, light_color, on_off
supported_features: 57
Any way I can get the bulb to the brightest setting without using the physical switch?
EDIT: I can get it to match exactly changing hs_color instead, but still dims a little.
