Tried to install 'night mode' from HACS, no succes :( .... someone to point me on the way?

Hi All,

I am a HASS noob still, and i tried to install ‘night mode’ appdeamon from HACS, I followed the instructions which were very minimal, and It doesn’t work.

I installed it via HACS.
Then I created a helper:

Since I could not find the apps.yaml on my system, I created it in /config/appdeamon/apps/, in that directory the nightmode is also installed.

now if I activate the helper, and then enter the stairway where that light is located, it turns on still at full brightness.

I don’t understand very well how this is supposed to work … Someone has some tips for me?

Are you sure you have AppDaemon add-on installed and running? So not just this Night Mode but the actual add-on called ‘AppDaemon’ from the add-on store (not HACS).
