Sorry if this seems a really basic question, but I can’t find an answer anywhere.
If I watch the triggers in an automation I see a blue bar and an orange bar at the top when a trigger fires. I presume the blue bar is an indication that the trigger has fired, but what does the orange bar mean?
*edit: actually, i think i know now after some goofing around. each time the event fires while the previous trigger bar color is still present it toggles between orange and blue. it’s just a way to differentiate and show that the trigger occurred again while the colored bar was already showing.
I had actually wondered if it was an indication of whether or not the trigger had resulted in an action being carried out, or not ie blue means triggered with action carried out, orange means triggered and no action carried out, perhaps because the mode is single?
Your suggestion that it indicates concurrent triggering also makes sense.
I’d still like a definitive answer from the HA devs though.
A bit late, but thought I’d add this for completeness.
The bar is blue while the trigger condition is active. If the trigger condition changes to inactive while the bar is still being displayed, the bar changes to orange.
