Trigger between two dates (Xmas lights)

So I am preparing for this years’ Xmas lights. I’d like to have my Xmas lights turn on at sundown, but only after Nov 15. Similarly I would like to have the lights stop turning on automatically after Jan 15th.
I haven’t found a way to put dates as a condition in triggering an event, so I hope someone can help me?

you could use input date time helpers to put your dates in and evaluate them in an automation (I did) or you could use the local calendar function (I do) and evaluate that in a automation.

I’d go with a calendar-based approach like Mats mentioned, but there are other options.
