Trojan: Win32/Vigorf.A virus in haos_generic-x86-64 image

I am trying to update my OS to Debian from Alpine Linux, an unsupported OS.
Windows 11 security detects a Vigorf.A virus when I download this image:
https://github.com/home-assistant/operating-system/releases/download/12.1/haos_generic-x86-64-12.1.img.xz
The file is deleted so I cannot write it to my spare SSD.
Alpine OS seems to run OK but I would like to conform to Debian soon.

There have been some threads about a virus in the backups. General consensus: there is no virus.

I just successfully downloaded the 12.0 version. Should I use 12.0 or wait for 12.1 fix?

12.1 is already available.

But it has a virus. Windows deletes it just after it is downloaded.

Then use 12.0
