Trouble getting google maps location sharing to work

So I followed all of the instructions on the component page. Added it to my config, used the tool to download the cookie, which I uploaded to /config with the proper name scheme.

Yet the tracker does not show up at all on the front end. When I log into my new gmail account, I also dont see hassio show up in recently used devices to even approve it.

I also dont see any errors.

Any ideas?

Your file is name like something : location_sharing.cookies.xxx_xxx_gmail_com ?
I’ve just tested and it works for myself.

I am also having the same issue. My cookie is named correctly but I am not seeing anything new. I am not sure how to verify it is working
