Trouble logging in via cell phone

Some unusual is going on and I cannot figure out what to do…

Via my LAN, I can access the HA console, log-in, and do stuff. No issue.

Using, I have set up a domain that tracks my URL. Using a browser on my computer, I can access the HA console via the this domain, log-in, and do stuff. No issue. Note that I have my router configured to forward incoming traffic which is directed to port 8123 to my HA machine.

Here’s the problem: When I try to the exact same thing as above using my cell phone, it reports ‘Error: invalid redirect URL’ and the HA log file shows ‘WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.http.ban] Login attempt or request with invalid authentication from…’

What on earth and I doing wrong?

That sounds more like cache/authentication problem than a network accessibility problem. Try clearing the cache on the phone or force-restarting the app.
