I’m having some difficulty restoring hassio from a backup. The background is the microsd card died, so I bought a new one. Installed HASSIO on it. Then I installed samba and can connect to it.
I was using some add on (I don’t remember specifically which), which took full snapshots and backed them up to gdrive. Those appear as TAR files. E.g.:
- Full Snapshot 2020-06-27 17_54_19.tar
I’m not sure what to do with these exactly to restore from them. I tried putting the full tar in the backup directory in hassio (hoping it would show up as a snapshot), but it doesn’t. Anyone know what my next step is to restore from it?
