Hey, I’m having some problem with my emulated hue. It used to work, but I recently switched up my router forwarding of my pi (I have ATT so I switched to DMZ mode which forwards all ports I think), and now I’m not getting any response from alexa (and I cannot reach http://pi_ip:8300/description.xml).
I’m also getting this error ERROR (MainThread) [homeassistant.components.http] Failed to create HTTP server at port 8300: [Errno 99] error while attempting to bind on address ('pi_ip', 8300): address not available
But I have no clue what is using port 8300, and I don’t know how to check that on Hassio.
But other than that, is there a way for me to change what port alexa uses? Or is that way more trouble than I need. Any other alternatives would be great.
Well that was dumb… I figured it out. Since I’m forwarding all the ports now, the original Pi IP is basically null. Needed to use my public address.
