My Truya devices show up as entities, but not devices. I don’t know whether I’m missing something. I can turn the switches on and off through HA. But I can’t make an automation with them unless they show up as devices, right?
No, you don’t need a device to create an automation with tuya switches (or any other entity). Just use the ‘state’ trigger.
