Trying to add an integration, but receive the "Aborted no devices found on the network"

Hello, new to HA and loving it so far. I am trying to integrate my Kasa light switches into HA. When I go to Configure > Integration > Kasa it tries to install the integration but at the end says “Aborted no devices found on the network”. Now I have all my switches into the Kasa app already. Does it mean I have to install them manually in the configuration yaml file? If so I will follow the guide, but since it’s my first integration I was wondering if maybe I was doing something wrong. For instance, both MQTT and Z-wave integrations installed correctly using this automated method. Thanks a lot!

Bump? Anyone want to chime in please?

I’m not sure, but it may be related tho this: https://alerts.home-assistant.io/#tplink.markdown
I don’t have any kasa switches, so I can’t say for sure.

I’m having the exact same problem. Started with when I upgraded to core-2021.4.6.

I had a similar problem. On 2021.5.5 it started that I lost connection with a single light switch (uncommon because I have everything set to a static IP address). I reloaded the integration and I lost connection with all of them.

I was researching the internal API issues and was considering going that route, but decided to reboot the entire RasPi and that allowed me to re-add the integration successfully… Hope that helps!
