Trying to connect an Echo Dot 3Gen to hass.io

Hey there,
I’m running hass.io in a vm ruiining in proxmox.
connected to it is a qualcom atheros bluetooth stick.
I’m trying to connect my echo dot 3 Gen to home assistant…
i paired it using terminal but connection doesnt work…
Every time i’m trying to connect it gives the error:
org.bluez.Error.NotAvailable

I’m trying to use my dot as local speaker to play audio or alerts or tts
but i just cant connect to it

Im not even sure Alexa can be a bluetooth speaker endpoint like that?

Preferred way to setup Alexa as a media player:
GitHub - custom-components/alexa_media_player: This is a custom component to allow control of Amazon Alexa devices in Home Assistant using the unofficial Alexa API.

You use it as described here:

I can use any alexa device to stream audio from my phone over Bluetooth.

yeah i got that integration installed and use that… but last time cause of the alexa outage nothing worked… i just want to take alexa off the cloud and use it as local speaker / mic to controll a local instance of something like almond
thats why i’m trying it that way
