I don’t know if this is the appropriate forum, but I couldn’t find any related posts. I have an U-tec Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro Wifi Smart Lock. I love it, except that nobody hears the tiny chirps it gives out when the battery is getting low. I was hoping I could setup an automation so that if the batter level fell below a certain percentage, it would send me a message on PushOver or something.
Unfortunately, it seems that Home Assistant only integrates with the Z Wave version of the lock and not the Wifi version (at least officially). I looked on IFTTT, Alexa, Google Home, and there doesn’t appear to be anyway I can do this… so I was curious if anyone else has this lock and figured out someway to integrate it with HA.
I have this lock and this problem. Did you ever find a way to integrate it to HA? I love it as a smart lock, it works really well. I just need it to be able to connect with HA.
Not directly. I ended up grabbing a Samsung SmartThings Hub while it was on sale and connected the lock to SmartThings and then integrated SmartThings into HA. Kinda silly as I try to stay away from adding hubs, but after contacting U-tec, that seemed to be the only way I could do it.
uggggggggg! I’m literally trying and struggling to integrate my Samsung SmartThings Hub into HA. lol. I think I’ve previously chosen the wrong everything for HA. I’ve got a google workspace email which won’t migrate for my Nest thermostats and doesn’t seem to play well with HA, SmartThings is being a pain, and my ultraloc is wifi only.
Thanks for your response. It gives me hope. Did you happen to have any issues with the SmartThings hub integration?
