I am migrating from Indigo where I have a lot of Insteon devices. Two of these are Insteon 2441TH thermostats. While HA discovered them, and will allow me the UI to control them, changing anything (temperature, on/off. etc) doesn’t change the thermostat itself.
Is there a trick to getting these working? Other Insteon devices (lights) seem to be working well, but I haven’t got all of them registered in HA yet.
I am running a HA Green with the latest HA build.
After almost 48 hours, one of the thermostats is now responding. I’ve no idea what caused this. The 2nd thermostat is still not responding, but if one fixed itself, there is hope!
Even the one that is slow takes time to respond to udpates from HA; about 1-3 minutes.
SOLVED: I had to re-link the thermostat to the PLM. I did this by pressing the SET button on the thermostat to put it into linking mode, and then use the API to issue commands to sync it to the PLM.
I believe this was needed as I didn’t wipe the PLM before I got it up and running in HA so it kept it’s link from the old Insteon setting (I’m not even sure how that would work - I am guessing here).
