Trying to set up Nginx, DuckDNS, configuration.yaml; port forwarding doesn't work

Hi, I am really struggling with this. I have searched through the forums and posted earlier and made it to this point:

I have discovered that port forwarding doesn’t appear to be working for all ports. It works for 443 and 8123 but not 80 or 81. I think this is creating all my issues connecting duckdns and nginx. I have Google Wifi and an ATT router that internet comes in to… ATT fiber.

I have been searching the forums and made it this far but wondering if someone else has struggled through this and can help. Thanks.

Many provider block the port and they will not be usable for you.
You need to setup so you not using the blocked ports.

Hi @palomino985 did you figure out how to resolve this?

If you’re using nginx the only port you really need to forward is 443.

You can forward any port in many cases. 443 is not always the only option but yes, only one port is required
