maybe a problem with the settings?

Yesterday it was resolved by creating a new MQTT user and adding that to the settings.

It seems to me that the problem is with the MQTT

The problem is not Zigbee2MQTT. It is the PITA MQTT add-on. I run mosquitto on bare metal and have had zero problems the last 5 years.
