TS0001_fingerbot offline

Hi, I use this Tuya “switchbot” alternative connected via zigbee2mqtt . about 3 month of good working, but recently it go offline about 4 hours after repairing. I need to reset and repair to make it works . I changed a repeater too to boost coverage, but it seems to go sleep. Anyone have a similar behaviour?

Edit: the error reported by Z2M log is
Publish 'set' 'state' to '0xa4c138XXXXXXXX' failed: 'Error: ZCL command 0xa4c138XXXXXX/1 genOnOff.on({}, {"timeout":10000,"disableResponse":false,"disableRecovery":false,"disableDefaultResponse":false,"direction":0,"srcEndpoint":null,"reservedBits":0,"manufacturerCode":null,"transactionSequenceNumber":null,"writeUndiv":false}) failed (Timeout - 24012 - 1 - 57 - 6 - 11 after 10000ms)'

I try remove, disconnect USB coordinator, join by router, join next to coordinator… every time after about 4/8h it doesn’ t react to command but it seems alive (Z2M report last seen time to time)

I have the exact same issue with my Tuya TS0001. I am also using Home Assistant with MQTT. It is the only one of the many TS0001’s in my house with this issue.

Did you find what was wrong or just replaced it?

I changed the repeater antenna: before it was connected with a generic router (smart socket via USB). Then I connected a CC2530 repeater. No disconnection, just a slight delay in switching from approx. 1 to 10 seconds, tolerable.

ok, help me here… What do you mean by ‘repeater antenna’… ?

I’ve got all my Zigbee switches and stuff connected to a ‘Sonoff Zigbee USB dongle-E’ which is connected to a Rasberry Pi 4. What can I do to fix it?

My coordinator is a RF star CC2652P2
but since the distance between it and the fingerbot is excessive, I interposed a router that I had available: ebyte Zigbee CC2531 2.4Ghz USB E18-2G4U04B
before this I had tried with this (https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005005719549411.html?search_direct=true&spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0&gatewayAdapt=glo2ita) but despite the best radio coverage, it gave that annoying offline problem.

ah check, coverage is not my issue since the switch is one of the closest to the zigbee controller.

In my network I also have a Sonoff dongle-E router to manage reed sensors of the same brand, it happened to me that using a different system the batteries lasted very little. You could use the original Tuya gateway in addition to the coordinator…

Ah ok, I only have the Sonoff dongle and use it for every zigbee switch or sensor I own, whatever the brand.

I eventually fixed it the old fashioned way.

Removed the switch from MQTT in Home Asistant and then opened up the wall socket and re-paired the switch. It even got recognised by the same name and all automations worked instantly.

I hope for you it works, in my case I had removed and re-associated dozens of times in all ways, initially it worked for a few hours (about 8).

Hi @psf and @Bart_NL ,
I have exactly the same issue. My fingerdot is not only going offline but even when it is online I’m getting high rate of timeout when requesting On or Off action.
I tried linking the fingerbot to either directly the concentrator or to a power plug (really close from the fingerdot) but I still have the issue.
I’m using zigbee2Mqtt and my concentrator is SONOFF TI CC2652P.

Did you find a solution ?
